1. Set Realistic Expectations

When you start dreaming about your personal branding session, you’re going to be met with a number of ideas. And while you do want to enter a session with a shot list, an endless list is not ideal. It’s important to stick to one specific vision for your session and to center your expectations around that.

2. Use Your Time Well

Don’t wait until the last minute to get all the details together for your shoot. Use the weeks leading up to your personal branding session wisely for the best results. Finding a photographer whose style you love is only one part of the process. You also need time to create a vision for your shoot, find a location and plan your outfits and props. These are not aspects you should leave too late, not if you don’t want to be disappointed and frustrated on the day of your shoot anyway.

3. Communicate with Your Photographer

Your photographer wants to create personal branding photos you can be proud of just as much as you do.
