I've always been a storyteller at heart and love history. Looking at old pictures and imagining how it was back then, how they felt, and everything in between. The pure amazing of someone’s legacy being passed down. A record that they were here! They existed. 

I first got my first DSLR camera in 2009...it sat on a shelf in my closet for years because I couldn't get my pictures exactly how I envisioned them. I then connected with a local photography group in 2011 and got a crash course on how to shoot manually on my Nikon D60 at a night outing at the local fair. My world changed in 2013 while attending WPPI. My first mindset shift happened. Photography could be a business. Honestly, I was reluctant of entrepreneurship because it was something I didn't fully believe in because I was never exposed to it, nor did I understand it. I graduated from college in 2005 with a dual degree in Biology and Psychology. Immediately after graduation I started working at an Environmental Company in the Organic Preparatory Lab. Everything was stable and then I discovered that photography wasn't just something that interested me anymore—it became a part of my life and with every shoot, there was something new to learn about myself and the world around me. My photography journey is a true representation of my transformation from hobbyist to entrepreneur. From trying to shooting everything and feeling lost to self-awareness and discovering who I am! That's the transformation I help my clients achieve too.

Over the years my skills have grown immensely, but most importantly so has my mindset when it comes to entrepreneurship. I know all about the journey and what I wish someone had told me while starting my business. It's my ultimate goal to equip my clients with a great foundation to launch and grow their businesses.
